Act IV
Scene One
Today I was so confused when I saw those witches, were their predictions right? Will I be safe? Every man was woman born, so no one can kill me. I will live till I die of old age. But those apparitions, they told me to beware of Macduff, but yet he was woman born, he can't kill me. Or can he? No, he can't. Oh I will surprise the castle of Macduff, seize upon Fife. That's what I shall do, they will see that no one can harm me.
Scene Two
Macduff wasn't at the castle, but where was he? The murderers killed his wife and son, but not him, but he has no where to come back home to. His whole castle is a wreck, no one left alive. He will have to stay where he is, so he can't come back to see me. I will be safe, no matter what, even if he does come back, like the witches said, no one of woman born can kill me.
Scene Three
Ha, Malcolm is a fool. Macduff is not an ally, he can't be trusted. There is no way Macduff is fit to be the king of Scotland, only I am. And now, yes, Macduff now knows his family is dead, but what is this? He's going to bring an army for revenge to kill me. Is he stupid? He can't kill me, no one can! I will return the favor with my own army and I shall be the last one standing.
Act V
Scene One
My lady is not well, sleepwalking? But why would that be? She never used to sleepwalk. No, she's speaking of the murders of Lady Macduff and Banquo! Why should she betray me like that and speak to the doctor and gentlewoman about me? She did nothing, how is there blood on her hands? Oh, she had nothing to do with it, it was all my fault on those murders. The only blood on her hands is from the murder of Duncan. What has happened to my lady?
Scene Two
So the English army is near, but I have my own army of Scotland. We will fight and I will win. I have my trustful army to watch my back. But do mine eyes beseech thee, what is this? The Scotland army, my army, is joining forces with the English. Why? What have I done to lose my own army? I am the King! They should be on my side! What am I to do now?
Scene Three
No one can kill me, so no worries to my people. We will be the winners of the fight. I shall have my armor and the witches' prediction to keep me alive. The doctor will cure my lady while I'm fighting the good fight, then when I return she will be well and everything will be well, just like they used to be. I will have my crown and power still and every person that could have took that away from me will be dead.
Scene Four
Disguise? Making their men holding trees, as to act like the forest. Ha, my people will not fall for that. We will be able to see them from a mile away, so we will then be ready for them. Hiding behind trees, how cowardly! At least my men stand behind their weapons and not plants!
Scene Five
My lady is dead, jumped and killed herself. Now, the woods are advancing. The witches said I could not die until the Birnam Wood moved to Dunsinane. I will die today, but at least I will die fighting. I'm sick of the sun and then I'll be with my lady. It's just all so fast, death is fast. The witches were right, but who shall kill me? Who is not woman born?
Scene Six
The English and Scotland army are here, I'm waiting for my death. I shall wait for them to come in and advance towards me. Then I will fight and kill as many as I can, just awaiting my death.
Scene Seven
I have killed Lord Siward's son, that's a start of the killing. I will kill all that will stand in my way of my death, I will find who will be the one to kill me. If I kill them, they were not the one to kill me.
Scene Eight
Macduff is searching for me, he will soon be here to see the man who killed his family.
Scene Nine
Malcolm and Siward have emerged my castle, will I fight with them as well? Is one of them the man to kill me?
Scene Ten
Macduff and I fought, he is the one to kill me. Beware Macduff, the apparitions told me, and they were right. My death will not be mourned, but at least I'll be away from all this trouble.
